I am a qualified coach and have extensive experience of supporting others’ personal and professional growth through coaching. I work to the Association for Coaching’s Code of Ethics and Good Practice, and have a valid Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. I offer private coaching to individuals and am also employed by organisations when an external coach is required to support employees’ development.
Individual coaching
Coaching can be valuable in many situations, for example personal or professional transitions, developing a healthy life balance, responding to or initiating change, raising self-awareness and establishing what’s important to you in order to guide life and career choices. I also offer focused coaching support for CVs, applications and interview preparation. Each coaching session lasts for approximately 1 hour. There is no set required number of sessions; it is for each client to decide how many sessions are required to meet their unique needs. Usually there will be the opportunity to meet up before the coaching commences not only to explore issues such as the practical arrangements of where to meet, confidentiality, ways of working, the client’s objectives for coaching, but also to check that we both feel comfortable to work together.
Organisational coaching
Many employers have qualified and experienced coaches available within their organisations to provide coaching to staff members. However, there are occasions when an external coach is more appropriate. I provide coaching support to individuals within organisations throughout the UK as and when required. Organisations usually contract for a specific number of sessions depending upon their employees’ needs.
